Analytics

Page views, referrer URLs, device type, browser, OS, and country. That's it. I use a self-hosted Umami instance, so the data lives on my own server, no third party ever sees it.

Your IP is used transiently to derive an anonymised daily session token, then discarded. It's never logged or stored.

No cookies. No cross-site tracking. No selling or sharing. Nothing personally identifiable.

Third-party scripts

Everything on this site is served from a single domain i.e. no requests go out to external tracking domains. Behind it, the site runs on Cloudflare Pages and analytics on a self-hosted Oracle VM.

I care about this stuff for myself too, so much that I use a number of privacy respecting software to track my own time:
